Little Friends

Today was the first day we met our Little  Friends in Ms. Helmrath's kindergarten.  We look forward to many opportunities to work with them.

What a nice job they all did reading with a friend. We talked about the role of both the reader and the listener. Conversation about the reading should happen after ever page. They focused their discussion on how the Hamilton family showed responsibility while caring for the joey.

First Week

I'm so excited for this year to begin. The students are doing a good job learning daily routines. Here you see them using a math program that focuses on fact fluency. Some have also already logged in from home.
