Reflex Math

Today I introduced the students to a new math program we will be using called Reflex Math. This program is used to help build your child's fact fluency. They will begin using the program here in school tomorrow. Next week I will send home a letter explaining how the program can be used at home too.

First Day of School 2015

What a great first day we had! I enjoyed getting to know all my new third graders. As you noticed at the end of the day we got a bit messy. We used paper mâché to create individual replicas of our planet Earth. Each child in the next few days will paint their globe then label the continents and oceans where they belong. Great kick off for our year long study of countries around the world.
